In early October, American Deli was invited to share its catering skills in Butter.ATL’s “Ode to ATL” pop-up experience presented by Crown Royal. Butter.ATL was created in October of 2018 underneath its parent company, Dagger, as a social media channel whose mission is to cover the people and things that shape the culture of Atlanta. This mission grows more crucial day by day as our wonderful city continues to change rapidly, expanding down new roads and remodeling some of the more historical areas to breathe new life back into Atlanta.
The pop-up event was held at Peters Street Station with a fantastic group of vendors and jamming tunes from DJ Wally Sparks. There was something for everyone and the funky chic venue offered endless opportunities for the perfect Instagram shot. Being a part of and serving as the caterer for this event was a great honor for American Deli, since we love any opportunity to show off our catering skills – especially in situations that serve to recognize the best in honest content creation.
Honoring the Culture of Atlanta
Butter.ATL created this event – as the name suggests – as an “ode” to the culture of Atlanta and understanding the art of capturing such a rich and diverse city through fun and informative content. Interactive content experiences from Crown Royal, Butter.ATL, Atealle, The Spice Group, Red Bull and more helped to drive that point home, and inspire advancements in creativity to fully grasp and convey the true essence of Atlanta for years to come.
Alongside our famous chicken wings, we offered some of our special secret sauce for guests to take with them and really bring home the flavor (ba dum tss). Seeing the guests faces light up once they caught a glimpse of our chicken wings warmed our hearts, and it’s a big part of what makes catering fun for us. We believe in down-to-earth service and we’re crazy about wings, foundations that began more than 30 years ago at our first store in the South Dekalb Mall in Atlanta. We’ve been a part of this community for decades, and we’re proud to cater to our Atlanta friends and family every day.
